Kumasi

Kumasi said, "part of the mechanics of oppressing people is to pervert them to the extent that they become the instruments of their own oppression." He is saying that oppression is at it's ultimiate when the oppressed oppress themselves. I think he has realized something very important. The instruments to stop gang violence is in the individual, just as it is the intstument to promote it. I do believe that these programs that would have had a major effect. A positive one. If you lend a hand out to help these lost souls they will come to realize that what they have thought right is not. And that they should think otherwise. Think of a different life besides that of a gang member's. Programs like these offer opportunity. Unity. Especially with the new days of technology, gang violence can be stopped. I don't only mean it can be stopped by programs alone, but I am saying that these programs, if continued, would display a decrease in gang membership.

You're Beautiful

Like words in a classroom
She's heavily noted
Defined by her beauty
She's forever quoted

She's a message in a bottle
Floating in my mind's ocean
She's the embodiment of why
My ultimate love potion.

I'm falling effortless
Thoughts of her
Touched opon more than less

To be continued...
